Sanctuary’s Children & Family Services Program (CFSP) delivers trauma-informed therapeutic and supportive services to children of various ages who have experienced family violence. The program collaborates with both children and their caregivers to facilitate the healing process for families. Following the issuance of an outstanding two-year COVID-19 grant in July 2021, FAAFC is delighted to continue its commitment to supporting Sanctuary. This involves sponsoring their trauma-informed group activities tailored for children and teenagers. These activities aim to alleviate the impacts of abuse, foster positive relationships, and create opportunities for emotional, educational, creative, and personal growth among the children.
