Sanctuary for Families

In 2026, French-American Aid for Children’s support will continue to support the Children’s & Family Services Program (CFSP) staff in Sanctuary’s main Manhattan office in their provision of trauma-informed counseling and groups and workshops for children and teens. The goals of the Children & Family Services Program are to rebuild family bonds ruptured by domestic violence; to create healthy, safe, nurturing environments for children and youth in the wake of violence; and over the long term, to break intergenerational cycles of abuse experienced by too many families in our city and nationwide. Funds will also support emergency basic needs to address food insecurity, rental support, clothing and other in-kind supports for children.
