The Children’s Village residential treatment facility and school provides a safety net for troubled children who would otherwise be lost in a bureaucratic system. This year, FAAFC supports their Sanctuary program; an emergency shelter dedicated to serving runaway and homeless youth. The Sanctuary is available 24/7/365 for vulnerable youth ages 12-17 who might otherwise become involved with child welfare, mental health, and/or juvenile justice systems, at risk of being separated from their family.
