About us

French-American Aid for Children (FAAFC) is an 85 year-old independent 501(c)3  organization based in New York City. We aim to mitigate the challenges faced by vulnerable French and American children by identifying project that will have a positive impact on their young lives.

The Board of Directors selects beneficiary institutions by evaluating their programs according to the guidelines and criteria set forth by FAAFC’s mission statement, then designates funds to specific projects. FAAFC then closely monitors each project by making regular visits to the facilities of the beneficiaries and through annual reviews of each charity, its grants and financial statements.

In addition, FAAFC makes one-time donations to similarly selected disaster relief organizations that benefit children.

All funds are raised through events, donations and membership dues. FAAFC distributes 100% of its proceeds every years.
